HIFU faq

What is it used for?

HIFU is used as a non-surgical way to have a full facelift, or to target specific areas to decrease wrinkles and give your skin a warm natural glow!

How long does one wait to see results?

After the procedure, the initial results are evident. The ultimate results, however, can be witnessed after two to three weeks.

The duration varies depending on a person’s production of collagen and the laxity of the skin.

Who is eligible for HiFu treatment?

Skin tightening has no specific age or gender limitation. Anyone in need of beauty advancement can get the procedure done.

But at LA Lipo Sunningdalewe will only treat people over the age of 18.

Are the tissues damaged by the energy rays?

The tissues do not get harmed in any way.

They are only warmed to increase blood flow or cooled down.

Is there a diet to be maintained after the treatment?

HiFu is not dependent on a diet before or after the procedure.

Can someone have HiFi procedure just once, or do i need to have mutiple treatments?

Yes, it is possible.

Even though the skin shrinks with age causing sagging, after your facelift we recommend once every couple of years to have a Hifu treatment again.

Which parts of the body do HiFu focus on?

HiFu is a non-surgical treatment that involves the subjecting of non-ionizing waves deep into the human skin to activate production of collagen responsible for youthful and healthy skin.

The procedure is less harmful and frees clients from post procedural treatments.

The ultrasonic waves aim at the specific tissues, tightening them for that uplift and new look.

What is Hifu?

This treatment reconstructs most features of the body that experience skin sagging.

This can include the forehead, cheeks and chin, the neck, arms, stomach, thighs, and the buttocks.

The body parts are given a completely different outlook with a firmer look.

How does it work on the face?

The face is the ultimate representation of beauty, and most people prefer a less showy evident procedure.

HiFu reaches the deepest tissue layers by a machine rolled on the skin surface.

The energy rays reach the dermis and boost the protein production; a process that most procedures might fail to achieve.

The proteins released after heating the tissues not only tightens the skin but also takes care of ailments like acne.

Can the skin be damaged in the process?

HiFu treatment is entirely harmless.

Apart from the immediate itching (to some) which fades off almost immediately, there is no harm caused on the skin.

The rays are very direct aiming at the targeted tissues. There is no skin abrasion or cutting during the procedure.

How many sessions does someone need?

Depending on the collagen production, after the first treatment, some people may go through the same procedure after a year or two.

Some individuals might take longer and might take even more than two years for another session.

Does the treatment have vast side effects?

No, HiFu clients do not have extreme side effects.

In thousands of procedures carried out, very few claims of swelling have been reported.

Other cases reported were very mild and short-lived.
